LeTS Rushey Mead Academey 3

Leicester Teaching School is a National Teaching School, committed through collaboration with others to improve schools' performance and outcomes for young people.

Welcome to Leicester Teaching School

The Leicester Teaching School (LeTS), part of The Mead Educational Trust and based at Rushey Mead Academy, was one of the first 100 schools nationally to be designated to become a National Teaching School.  This status means that, together with a range of strategic partners, Rushey Mead Academy has responsibility for leading a self- improving school system in the local area and beyond.  We have accepted a collective responsibility for improving performance of the schools not just within the Trust but regionally and nationally.
